PureFlow Raptor 4G 100 GPH Fuel Pump 98.5-02 Dodge 5.9L Cummins With In-Tank Fuel Pump

The factory block mounted lift pumps found on the 1998.5-2002 Cummins have proven themselves as being nothing better than a temporary Band-Aid. Further, as the lift pumps failed, it would cause premature failure of the injection pump, a very expensive repair. While Dodge began retrofitting fuel pumps from the block to inside of the fuel tank, it has been shown that this conversion is better than the original units, but still not adequate, especially for those that have made any performance upgrades.

This pump kit is designed for those trucks that are currently running the in-tank converted pumps and will deliver 100 gallons per hour (GPH) of fuel, enough to support stock to 500 rear wheel horsepower.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING IN-TANK FUEL PUMP
This specific AirDog unit is designed for trucks featuring the in-tank lift pump. For those unaware, all of the 1998.5-2004.5 Cummins powered Rams came from the factory with a block mounted lift pump. However, if it ever failed and had it replaced previously, it very likely was retrofitted to the newer design that actually placed the pump in the fuel tank. If you're not sure where your pump is located, simply "bump" the key, which will engage the pump, then listen whether the hum from the pump is coming from the engine compartment or the fuel tank.
