WHAT IS A SECOND GEN TURBO KIT?
A "Second Gen Turbo Kit" removes the turbo from the factory location on the head (which is centered on cylinders four and five), moving it forward to be centered on the head between cylinders three and four. The reasoning this is called "2nd Gen" kit is because the second generation Rams (1994-2002 model years) had this turbo location from the factory, and is more ideal for even exhaust flow.
