RCT Rebuilt Stock Replacement Turbo 94-97 7.3L Ford Powerstroke

Replace your worn factory turbo with this completely remanufactured unit with optional upgrades and a one year warranty.

EXHAUST HOUSING OPTIONS: The 94-97 7.3L Ford Powerstroke came stock with a 1.15 A/R exhaust housing on the turbo. This was largely done to keep exhaust temps lower due the lack of an intercooler. The downside is that the trucks have horrible spool-up characteristics. By going to a smaller exhaust housing you can get the truck to spool faster. The downside is that your EGT's will be a little higher. Most any truck can get away with going to a 1.00 A/R housing. However, if you want to go down to the .84 A/R we recommend that you have an intercooler installed. If you don't want to source all of the parts out yourself, we offer a complete kit from Banks.

COMPRESSOR WHEEL OPTIONS: And for those looking for even more performance out of a stock framed charger, we also offer this turbo with an optional billet extended tip compressor wheel. This design has been proven to have superior spooling characteristics in comparison to the stock cast wheel, as well as having the ability to displace more airflow for lower temperatures.
